Carved console table with white marble top, shell-centred apron and S-scroll supports

A console table, the white marble top with canted front corners above a serpentine frieze centred by a boldly carved shell amid C-scrolls and foliage. It stands on a pair of moulded S-scroll supports carved with flowerheads and leafage, ending in scroll feet on a shaped platform base with plain square rear pillars. The show wood is richly figured, with a deep reddish-brown polished colour.
