A carved daybed with scrolled end

A daybed in pale honey-coloured wood, the scrolled head end upholstered in black cloth with a matching squab cushion and a bolster with pleated rosette ends. One long rail is pierced and carved with scrolling leafwork between scroll-carved bracket legs, while the other is left plain and shows a tight mottled figure in the wood. Each leg finishes in a turned, lappet-carved foot fitted with a castor.
