Gilt-metal mounted veined marble centre table

A rectangular centre table in heavily veined cream marble, the bevelled top raised on a frieze set with embossed gilt-metal lattice panels between rosette corner blocks, the long side centred by a wreath and spray mount and the short sides by small trophy mounts. Tapering marble legs with gilt-metal capitals rise from fluted gilt feet and are joined by an arched gilt-metal stretcher carrying a veined marble finial with a cast pinecone top. The gilding shows old rubbing and dark spotting, clearest at the feet.
