Turquoise-ground lidded baluster vase with polychrome figural decoration

A lidded baluster vase with a waisted lower body, the domed cover rising to a knop finial. The pale turquoise ground is decorated overall in polychrome with figures in court dress, warriors, dragons, birds, pagodas and flowering sprays, with a lobed figural cartouche to each face. The ground shows patchiness and rubbing in places, most visibly towards the foot.
